Attorney General Pam Bondi has reported her latest net worth to be almost $1.7 million, as per her financial disclosure for 2016 filed by the Florida Commission on Ethics.Her net worth has grown from $1.4 million she reported in 2015 and from the nearly $781,000 she disclosed for 2012, the earliest disclosure still publicly available on the commission's website.Bondi's valued at a little over $472,000 in 2010 when she was first running for office.Her net worth increased significantly in 2013, after she received an inheritance from her father's estate, Joseph Bondi, an author, educator and former Temple Terrace mayor. His death occurred in January 2016. Her 2016 disclosure shows that she had approximately $540,000 worth of assets and $1.06 million in debts. The value of her home has increased from $825,000 in 2015--a 28.5 percent increase.Her liabilities include two loans from Tampa's Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union totaling almost $255,000."Elected officials as well as other officials in government must disclose their finances as part of a transparent initiative approved by voters nearly four decades ago,"
